We are a small local business, qualified in the trade. We set up to look after farmers, saleyards and other businesses, and we take on anyone who needs a welding job done.

Do you do free quotes?

Yes. Quotes are free. Send us a photo and a few details, or call us, and we will work out what the job needs.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. We have public liability insurance.

Should I get a mobile welder or take it to a workshop?

If it fits on a ute or a trailer and it can wait, bring it to the workshop in Nairne. If it cannot be moved, or it needs fixing where it is, we come to you. We do both, so ask us which suits the job.

How much do mobile welders charge?

It depends on the job. What changes the cost is how complex the job is, the metal, the time on site, the travel, and whether it is urgent or after hours.

We do not list prices because every job is different, but our quotes are free. Send us a photo and we will work out what it needs.

Are you available after hours?

Yes, for urgent callouts, with a callout fee. Ring us and we will tell you what we can do.

Can you weld on a Total Fire Ban day?

Not outdoors, unless you hold a Schedule 10 permit and follow its terms. The Country Fire Service (CFS) says these permits are generally only issued for emergencies.

A Total Fire Ban is declared when the Fire Danger Rating is Extreme or Catastrophic. It starts at midnight and lasts 24 hours. If a ban lands on the day of your job, the outdoor welding has to wait.
